A few weeks ago, it was announced that Städgladen, founded in 1993 by David Nildén and Ricard Höckerfelt, is the latest company to join the Reledo Group.
Städgladen provides professional cleaning services for offices, schools, department stores, retail premises, public spaces, gyms and sports facilities. Its services also include stairwell and end-of-tenancy cleaning, as well as specialist cleaning such as sterile cleaning for laboratories. In addition, the company offers floor care and window cleaning and operates in both Stockholm and Gothenburg.
With this acquisition, Städgladen joins a group that already includes the cleaning companies Exiso, ICG Sverige, Ekebybruk Städ och Lokalservice, Bofint Städservice Sverige and Jörnsveds Charkstäd, as well as Enjojj and Returab.
Swedish trade publication Rent spoke with Reledo’s Group CEO, Jonas Warnander, about the company’s next steps.
When can we expect the next acquisition?
“We are very active and are currently in discussions with several excellent companies. Exactly when the next acquisition will take place is difficult to say, but we are working at a fast pace,” Jonas Warnander told Rent via email.
Why do so many companies want to grow together with Reledo?
“Our model is built around preserving each company’s identity while allowing them to continue operating with their talented employees and entrepreneurial leadership. That is the foundation for satisfied customers and continued success. We also ensure that the entrepreneurial drive within each business remains strong by offering entrepreneurs and key employees an ownership stake in the group. This strengthens engagement and encourages even closer collaboration between our companies, which benefits everyone.”
Have you already secured your first joint assignments as Reledo?
“Several of our companies have already started cross-selling their services, with multiple businesses within the group serving the same customer. Since all companies within Reledo have well-established brands that are important to both customers and employees, our ambition is to continue meeting the market under those trusted brands. At the same time, we are actively creating more opportunities for cross-selling and collaboration across the Reledo Group,” Jonas Warnander continues.
Reledo is 85% owned by Celero Capital, while the remaining 15% is owned by the entrepreneurs behind the group’s companies. Reledo, in turn, owns 100% of its subsidiaries.
