Reledo continues its Nordic growth journey and strengthens its presence in Sweden through the acquisition of Måltidsfabriken, a well-established provider of meal transport and service logistics with a presence stretching from Piteå to Bromölla.
The company was founded in 2016 and has since built its operations around delivery reliability, quality and close relationships with its customers, mainly municipalities and regions with high demands on punctuality and traceability in every delivery. The company today has more than 150 employees across Sweden. Going forward, previous owner and current CEO Maiwand Rasouli will continue to lead the business.
"I founded Måltidsfabriken in 2016, as a 19-year-old, and the business started out as a local Helsingborg company. Through a strong customer focus, a high level of ambition and clear growth targets, the company developed relatively quickly into a nationwide operation. I see the strong profitability and growth over the years as proof that our culture, our ways of working and how we run the business have been firmly rooted in the organisation.
When Reledo expressed interest in taking over ownership, it felt like a natural next step, and at the same time confirmation that Måltidsfabriken had reached a level where the company was ready for the next phase of its development.

The acquisition strengthens Reledo's position in the Swedish market and creates new opportunities for collaboration, synergies and continued growth within a growing segment. The acquisition has been signed and will be completed on 30 September.
